History The clan's first name was conceived sometime around the winter of 2003 after the fall of the Cobra Clan. We were known as "The Emerald Dragons". The orignal Leader was "oh hell ya" but he decided he had better things to do and left. We originally used IPB 1.3 boards on Invisionfree. We started recruiting around the spring of 2004. Eventually all Emerald Dragons members were deleted because of inactivity and we started fresh. On October 16, 2004, a phpnuke site was created and recruiting began again. Soon after that, what remained of the Death Plan Clan and the Dark Renegades Clan, which included Im4eversmart, who would go on to become the Leader, merged into ED. Im4eversmart soon after requested the clan's first large alliance, one with the Brotherhood of the Gods. It was accepted and they became our first strong ally. Im4eversmart moved our forums to a phpbb site, which had very good forum skins, but unfortunately was a little hard to manage. A little while later we warred The Dark Angels and won. Tragically, the leader of our clan, Ace_g33k, became too power-hungry and was kicked out. We dropped the name "Emerald Dragons" and became The Official RuneHQ Clan (TORC). MrStormy, Im4eversmart, and a few others helped get us back on our feet by moving our forums to a RuneHQ subdomain and upgrading them to IPB 2.0. Soon after we moved to http://rhqclan.com and upgraded our board to IPB 2.1. We were living the high life, and had hundreds of members joining each week. Unfortunately, one council member did some illegal actions on RuneHQ and was removed, causing all but five of our staff to also be removed and banned. After a week, Im4eversmart, Chownuggs, and MrStormy got us back on our feet for the second time and we have been going stronger ever since. At this point we became a thriving clan of hundreds of friendly and active people, and had evolved more from a PK based F2P clan to a Skill/Everything F2P/P2P Community Clan. In December of 2007, we decided to change our name to The Eleventh Hour and became independent from RuneHQ, mostly so RuneHQ could take up a neutral, unbiased role in the clans world. Today, we are one of the largest and friendliest clans in all of RuneScape, gaining new members every day. Im4eversmart's brief history I originally created a clan called Dark Renegades a long time ago, and ran it with Hero. http://s4.invisionfree.com/Dark_Renegades_Clan/index.php Then we fell apart and Hero created Death Plan. http://s4.invisionfree.com/Death_Plan/index.php That didn't work out too well so we merged it into Emerald Dragons. http://s4.invisionfree.com/Emerald_Dragons_clan/index.php I tried making the limited-capability forums nice looking for Invisionfree (IFSkinzone wasn't created yet so we were in Dark Ages) Ace_g33k refused to let me participate in council affairs for ages, and after I ended up leading a very unlucky pk trip he even said I was never allowed to lead an event again. Eventually I was promoted to the council after all. I made friends with everyone and we had some good times. Soon we moved to Icefuzion and phpBB forums. I spent a lot of time creating skins and other good stuff, but the forum capabilities were still limited and we weren't getting as many members as I could of hoped. Soon after we had the phpbb forums, I told Jen I would like to be the Official RuneHQ Clan, so she asked MrStormy and he said yes. So we became the official clan of RuneHQ and moved to their site. During this time Jen almost quit a few times and everyone got in a big fight, which resulted in Ace_g33k getting banned and Jen and I becoming Leaders. We took on the name The Official RuneHQ Clan since Ace copyrighted ED. We experienced a huge member boom and became very powerful. We eventually had many staff and thought we had it all. Then one of those staff did something very stupid and all but five were banned. About a week later we recovered and began having events again, and I added two cool mods, one an arcade and the other an RPG forum game for everyone to play and have fun with. MrStormy even bought us a SigmaChat. In December of 2007 we changed the name to The Eleventh Hour, for reasons explained above. Today we are one of the largest and friendlist clans in all of RuneScape!
